The Association provides benefits under its major medical expense policy.

- If I move to Mississippi from another state, can I purchase a policy from the Association immediately?
Generally, no. There are two exceptions. The six month residency requirement may be waived if you qualify for immediate coverage (see page 5 of Application for Coverage) or if you are covered by another state's high risk health pool when you move to Mississippi.

- If I choose a high deductible policy, can I change to a lower deductible policy in the future?
NO. However, you may change from a lower deductible to a higher deductible policy at any time.

NO. Premium payment methods offered by the Association are monthly bank draft, annual bank draft or direct annual billing.

The Administering Insurer processes the claims and other paperwork of the Association. The Administering Insurer is United Healthcare.
